CID is an Indian police procedural television series that premiered on Sony Entertainmn ent Televisionon 21 January 1998. The series renewed for a second season in December 2024 set to premiere from 21st December. [1] CID garnered widespread national attention and developed a substantial following due to its distinctive storytelling and unique approach. It has been described as a cult classic by Firstpost.[2]
